EPAM Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior Java Developer with an AI background to deliver dependable, scalable backend services for innovation-led initiatives.

You will work with Java Core, Java 8, Spring Boot, REST, SQL, and Microservice Architecture, supported by CI/CD and Unit Testing. Responsibilities include planning scalable solutions, architectural input, mentoring juniors, and ensuring timely delivery within Azure and AWS cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in a comparable technical role.
• Strong knowledge of Java Core and OO programming principles.
• Hands-on production experience with Java 8.
• Proven Spring Boot experience for backend services.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure-based cloud systems.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud deployments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD fundamentals for automated delivery.
• Experience implementing Microservice Architecture in backends.
• REST API design and integration experience.
• Unit testing practices to ensure quality and stability.
• English communication at B2 level or higher.
