Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc in Argentina is seeking a Senior Java Developer with practical AI exposure to build scalable Java services and reliable deployments. You will shape microservices, REST APIs, and cloud deployments on Microsoft Azure and AWS while collaborating across product and engineering teams.

You will design scalable platforms, mentor peers, review code, and drive durable fixes. Strong experience with Java 8, Spring Boot, CI/CD, SQL/NoSQL, and fluent English are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI tools and frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Java Core and OO principles.
• Proven Java 8 in production.
• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Experience deploying on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience deploying on AWS.
• CI/CD concepts and pipelines.
• Strong SQL in relational databases.
• Experience delivering microservices architecture.
• REST API implementation and integration.
• Unit testing practices for quality code.
• Exposure to NoSQL databases with Java.
• Fluent English at B2+.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable platforms aligned with strategic goals and engineering standards.
• Contribute architectural input to shape roadmaps.
• Coordinate with business, product, and technology teams to maintain delivery quality.
• Review peer code and provide actionable feedback.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and drive durable fixes.

• Refine scope, assess effort, and help prepare schedules and estimates.
