EPAM Systems Inc seeks a Senior Java Developer with real AI experience to deliver scalable Java backends and dependable system performance. You will develop Spring Boot microservices, expose REST APIs, work with SQL and NoSQL stores, and run services on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services with CI/CD.

You will architect scalable platforms, mentor engineers, and contribute to architectural roadmaps while aligning with business and product teams to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on software engineering experience.
• Experience building microservices with Java/Spring Boot.
• Experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL experience.
• REST API design and integration.
• Fluent English (B2+).

Responsabilités

• Architect scalable platforms supporting strategic goals and engineering quality standards.
• Participate in architectural roadmap discussions and provide technical viewpoints for planning.
• Conduct peer reviews and deliver detailed feedback to promote sustainable coding standards.
• Diagnose complex engineering issues, identify root causes, and coordinate permanent fixes.
• Mentor junior engineers to accelerate skill growth and autonomy.
• Clarify scope, estimate effort, and help build schedules during project preparation.
• Investigate emerging technologies and integrate beneficial methods into engineering workflows.
• Write and maintain clear documentation for key design decisions and development processes.
