Bechtel in Argentina seeks a Senior Environmental Permits Manager to oversee obtaining, maintaining and monitoring environmental and sectoral permits for mining projects in Argentina. The role ensures design, planning and field activities comply with national and provincial regulations and client environmental standards.

The position acts as a bridge between engineering and regulatory authorities, translating legal requirements into verifiable criteria and maintaining a critical permit route

Competenze

• Electrical engineering degree and ten years of work-related experience in substation and Line construction.
• Proven High Voltage experience in at least 2 mining projects.
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.

• Manage the obtaining, maintenance and monitoring of environmental and sectoral permits that enable the execution of the project in Argentina, ensuring compliance with design, planning and field activities.
• Act as a bridge between engineering and regulatory authorities to translate legal requirements into verifiable design criteria and project schedule.
