Bechtel in Argentina seeks an experienced Environmental Permits Manager to obtain, maintain and monitor environmental and sectoral permits for our mining and infrastructure projects in Argentina, ensuring compliance with national and provincial regulations.

The role acts as a bridge between engineering teams and regulators, translating legal requirements into verifiable design criteria, and coordinating with authorities to align permits with the project schedule.

Competenze

• Electrical engineer degree and ten (10) years of work-related experience in substation and Line construction.
• Proven High Voltage experience in at least 2 mining projects.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Ability to speak/read English and Spanish.

• Manage the obtaining, maintenance and monitoring of environmental and sectoral permits that enable the execution of the project in Argentina, ensuring that engineering design, constructive planning and field activities comply with applicable national and provincial regulations.
• Act as a bridge between engineering and regulatory authorities to translate requirements into verifiable design criteria and maintain a critical permit route aligned with the project schedule.
• Assess and elevate issues to the Construction Engineering Manager, as necessary.
