Qualifications

• Electrical engineer degree with 10 years of work-related experience in substation and line construction.
• High voltage experience in at least 2 mining projects.
• Ability to understand and apply local, state/province, and national regulations.
• Ability to attend to detail and work time-conscious and time-efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction engineering and technical support for a discipline on large stand-alone projects.
• Assist craftsmen, foremen, and project supervision with construction-related issues identified on drawings.
• Provide technical interpretation of design documents to support construction managers and contractors.
• Establish and maintain communication between the company and the design engineer for timely flow of design information.
