Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior GenAI Engineering Lead to design and implement enterprise GenAI applications and intelligent workflows. You will integrate LLMs into enterprise ecosystems, build secure AI solutions, and guide architecture decisions across teams in LATAM.

The role requires hands-on GenAI experience, collaboration with cloud and data engineers, and a passion for advancing AI maturity across the region. This is a full-time on-site opportunity in Argentina.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, GenAI systems, and prompt engineering.
• Experience with OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Llama.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise GenAI applications.
• Develop AI agents, multi-agent systems, RAG architectures, and intelligent workflows.
• Integrate LLMs into enterprise ecosystems.
• Build secure, scalable, and production-ready AI solutions.
• Drive architecture decisions and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and cloud teams.
• Implement observability, evaluation, testing, and governance frameworks.
• Optimize latency, cost, reliability, and quality.
• Work with OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Llama, LangGraph, LangChain, MCP Servers, Vector Databases, Python ecosystems, Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Act as an AI Champion within EPAM LATAM.
• Mentor engineers and technical communities.
• Promote AI-assisted engineering practices.
• Share knowledge through workshops and enablement programs.
• Help accelerate AI maturity across the region.
