EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior GenAI Engineering Lead to build the next generation of AI products and platforms across LATAM. You will design and implement enterprise GenAI applications, develop AI agents, and integrate LLMs into enterprise ecosystems.

You will mentor engineers, promote AI-assisted engineering practices, and drive architecture choices while collaborating with cloud, data, and architecture teams to deliver secure, scalable, production-ready AI solutions that create measurable

Formación

• 5+ years in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, APIs and microservices.
• Expertise in cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, GenAI systems, and prompt engineering.
• Background in RAG architectures and agentic AI.
• Familiarity with vector databases and model orchestration.
• Knowledge of evaluation frameworks and AI observability.
• Experience with OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, and Llama.
• Familiarity with LangGraph, LangChain, and MCP Servers.
• Flexibility to use Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Strong collaboration, mentoring, ownership and learning mindset.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

• Act as an AI Champion within EPAM LATAM
• Mentor engineers and technical communities
• Promote AI-assisted engineering practices
• Share knowledge through workshops and enablement programs
• Help accelerate AI maturity across the region

Requirements

• 5+ years in software engineering
• Proficiency in Python, APIs, and microservices
• Expertise in cloud-native architectures and distributed systems
• Skills in CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, GenAI systems, and prompt engineering
• Background in RAG architectures and agentic AI
• Familiarity with vector databases and model orchestration
• Knowledge of evaluation frameworks and AI observability
• Skills in OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, and Llama
• Familiarity with LangGraph, LangChain, and MCP Servers
• Flexibility to use Azure, AWS, and GCP
• Strong collaboration skills, ability to mentor and influence others, ownership mentality, and passion for continuous learning
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
