EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior GenAI Engineer to join our team in Argentina. The role focuses on building GenAI-powered capabilities, including LLM integrations, MCP tooling, and agentic workflows, across a full stack from backend services to UI.

You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver streaming interactions, tool execution, and structured outputs while maintaining quality and evolving the platform to meet deadlines.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years hands-on professional experience.
• Experience building applications powered by LLM providers such as Claude or OpenAI.
• Hands-on experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP), including designing tool schemas and MCP servers.
• Experience designing multi-step agentic workflows, including tool use, orchestration logic, and safety guardrails.
• Strong full-stack background: React/TypeScript frontend with Python/FastAPI or Node.js backend.
• Experience integrating LLM provider APIs, including streaming responses, function/tool calls, and structured outputs.
• Solid English skills (B2 level or higher).

Responsabilidades

• Take part in the full lifecycle of feature development from concept through deployment and support.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Build intuitive, responsive user interfaces delivering smooth end-user experience.
• Develop and maintain backend services powering core functionality.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to shape product direction.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, stability, and usability issues.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high quality.
• Document technical decisions and workflows for team knowledge sharing.
• Estimate effort and timelines and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Stay current with emerging tools and approaches and propose improvements.
