Job summary

EPAM Systems in Argentina is seeking a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer to build GenAI‑powered applications, delivering intuitive web UIs and scalable client-side integrations. You will craft reusable frontend components and design systems, leverage LangChain or LlamaIndex with OpenAI, and collaborate with design and product teams to iterate AI UX.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production applications with React, TypeScript, or Vue for enterprise use cases.
• 5–8 years of full-stack software engineering experience spanning frontend UIs, REST APIs, and microservices.
• 2+ years integrating GenAI features, LLM APIs, and prompt UI patterns into web-based applications.
• Solid Python backend skills, with 2+ years building and consuming cloud microservices on AWS, Docker, and REST APIs.
• Experience building reusable component libraries, design systems and custom hooks.
• English proficiency at a B2+ level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop GenAI-powered applications with intuitive web-based UIs and client-side integrations.
• Craft responsive frontend interfaces designed for streaming responses and low latency.
• Build a library of reusable components, hooks and design systems for GenAI apps.
• Bring LLM-based experiences to life using LangChain or LlamaIndex with OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to iterate on AI UX patterns and prompts.
• Ensure security, accessibility, observability and test coverage across client-side and full-stack builds.
• Produce high-performance UIs for AI-driven interactions like streaming text and summaries.
• Maintain a shared component library for internal teams to integrate GenAI features.
• Develop UI components that offer transparency and trust in AI outputs.
