Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer (JS) with deep AI knowledge to join our engineering team. You will shape core architecture and drive feature delivery from conception to release in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead architecture decisions, collaborate with product designers and data scientists, and ensure robust, scalable web platforms. Strong JS, React, Node.js, and AI experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in professional software development with leadership responsibilities.
• Deep understanding of full stack engineering combining UI/UX with backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of AI concepts, algorithmic integrations, and intelligent features.
• Excellent JavaScript skills for high-speed, interactive web platforms.
• Extensive experience with React for modular UI and complex state management.
• Server-side expertise with Node.js for scalable asynchronous APIs and microservices.
• Experience with Python for data manipulation or AI-system integration.
• Familiarity with Java for enterprise-style service topology and Go for high-throughput microservices.
• Proven practice writing unit tests using frameworks like Jest, Mocha, Karma, and Testify.
• Hands-on exposure to modern build tools (Webpack, Gulp, Grunt) and test automation.

Responsibilities

• Direct the architecture and rollout of resilient web platforms with modern JavaScript and AI features.
• Collaborate with product designers and data specialists to define scope and technical parameters.
• Tune frontend and backend components for peak performance and user experience.
• Embed neural networks and cognitive utilities into production environments.
• Maintain clean, well-documented source code following industry standards.
• Build and execute testing strategies including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Lead CI/CD pipelines and automate build processes for faster delivery.
• Mentor junior/mid developers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Diagnose and fix complex system issues across the stack.
• Participate in architectural roadmap discussions and forward-thinking tech strategies.
