Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior JavaScript Full-Stack Developer with AWS experience to join our team in building scalable production systems. You will contribute across the stack, shaping frontend and backend while aligning on architectural direction.

Responsibilities include designing full-stack apps, building accessible UIs with TypeScript/React, implementing services on the JVM or shared TS platforms, and deploying on AWS with CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional full-stack web engineering experience shipping production systems.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React with performance optimization and accessibility in mind.
• Backend experience in Kotlin or Java on the JVM.
• Experience with gRPC, protobuf, and HTTP/REST API development.
• Competency in DynamoDB and PostgreSQL data modeling, with Redis familiarity.
• Understanding of caching, queues, and eventual-consistency trade-offs.
• Hands-on AWS, containers, and CI/CD as part of development.
• Strong testing discipline across unit, integration, and end-to-end levels.
• English proficiency at B2 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship production-ready full-stack web applications.
• Build accessible, performant UIs using TypeScript and modern frameworks.
• Implement and maintain backend services on JVM or shared TypeScript platforms.
• Design and evolve data models across relational and NoSQL databases.
• Develop and integrate APIs using gRPC, protobuf, HTTP, and REST.
• Deploy and operate applications on AWS with containers and CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply caching and queuing strategies for scalability and reliability.
• Maintain strong testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical direction.
