Job summary

Fluor is seeking a seasoned professional to manage environmental permits for a major project in Argentina. You will translate regulatory requirements into design criteria, coordinate with engineers, and oversee environmental compliance across the project lifecycle.

The role requires university degrees in relevant fields, extensive mining/energy project experience, and strong communication with authorities. Willingness to relocate and work on-site in Argentina is expected.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree with 10 years in substation/line construction.
• HV expertise in mining projects (2+ projects).
• Detail-oriented with ability to follow statutes and guidelines.
• English/Spanish bilingual abilities are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the project permits matrix with deadlines.
• Prepare the Environmental Impact Report and updates with supporting docs.
• Manage dialogue with authorities and coordinate with project management.
• Provide environmental constraints to design and engineering teams.
• Deliver environmental deliverables per control system and approvals.
