Job summary

Qualifications

• Electrical engineer degree and 10 years of relevant experience.
• HV substations experience on mining projects.
• Knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and national statutes/guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-management.
• Ability to learn and apply regulations and permit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining the project permits matrix and submission requirements.
• Prepare, review and submit the Environmental Impact Report and biennial updates.
• Manage environmental and sectoral permits: water use, effluent, emissions, hazardous waste, soil movement.
• Maintain technical dialogue with enforcement authorities and project stakeholders.
• Provide environmental permitting support to engineering and construction teams.
