Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to diagnose and resolve production issues for a high-traffic hiring events product. You will work across Java/Spring Boot, Django/Python, and React, with Kafka, GraphQL, and databases like SQL or MongoDB.

Ownership and autonomy are essential as you ramp up on multiple projects. Strong English (upper-intermediate) is required, along with build and deployment experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Java/Spring Boot as the primary skill set, first priority.
• Django/Python as secondary, second priority.
• React, Kafka, GraphQL, SQL or MongoDB.
• Build and deployment experience.
• Senior-level engineer able to ramp up quickly and own multiple projects.
• High ownership and autonomy.
• Experience with Dagster/Data Lakes/Athena.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve production issues for high-traffic hiring events.
• Partner with client-facing teams to triage support tickets.
• Ensure issues meet SLAs and monitor for performance degradation.
• Support architecture changes and system integrations affecting events.
• Maintain event logic amid dependency changes.
• Onboard additional team members with Lead/Senior hires prioritized.
