Job summary

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree required with 10 years of experience in substation and line construction.
• High voltage experience in mining projects is required.
• Ability to interpret design documents for construction managers and contractors.
• Ability to comply with local, state/province and federal regulations.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction engineering and technical support for a discipline on large projects.
• Assist craftsmen and supervision with construction-related issues from drawings.
• Interpret design documents to support construction managers and contractors.
• Coordinate flow of design documents between the company and the design engineer.
• Manage the project quality program where responsibility lies with construction engineering.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
