Job summary

Compass, a cloud-based real estate platform, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team on a contractor basis via Deel. You will help with budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting, delivering clear insights that drive strategic decisions across regions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, or a similar role.
• Fluent in English, spoken and written.
• Advanced experience and Skills in both Microsoft Excel & Google Sheets.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
• Experience working with and summarizing large data sets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with Netsuite, Adaptive, and Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
• Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial models for various projects.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis.
• Support the FP&A function in development and ongoing process improvement, including driving consistency and improvement in business analysis and reporting.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.
• Develop and deliver a robust, consistent, and accurate analysis of market and regional-level business performance using KPI dashboards and non-financial data to highlight performance.
