Job summary

Coalfire is seeking a detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team. The role supports financial planning, reporting, headcount, and business analysis across the organization.

Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you will engage in forecasting cycles, CFO-level reporting, and collaboration with leadership and investors. The ideal candidate will have a finance background, strong Excel and data accuracy skills, and the ability to work across time zones in a remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• 2 years of experience in Accounting, FP&A, financial analysis, or a related finance role.
• Strong Excel skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and data reconciliation.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple recurring deliverables under tight turnaround timelines.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work across time zones in a remote environment.
• Professional English proficiency (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Headcount Reporting & Reconciliation: assist with headcount data gathering, reconciliation, and reporting; maintain headcount schedules for forecasting and P&L management; support month-end close by reconciling headcount costs.
• Spend Tracking & Cost Support: monitor and reconcile vendor/subcontractor spend; maintain spend trackers; analyze cost components; coordinate with AP for accurate accruals.
• Forecasting Support: assist in compiling forecasting inputs; support updating financial models during forecast cycles; identify data discrepancies across sources.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: prepare recurring financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses; support CFO and leadership reporting; conduct ad hoc data pulls and analyses.
