Job summary

Bechtel, based in Argentina, seeks a Senior Environmental/Permits Engineer to manage environmental permits for a major project in San Juan. You will coordinate environmental studies, liaise with provincial and national authorities, and ensure design and construction align with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

University degree in Civil Engineering or related field with professional registration.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain the project permits matrix with timelines and authorities.
Prepare, review and submit Environmental Impact Reports and updates.
Manage associated sectoral permits (water use, emissions, waste, etc.).
Maintain technical dialogue with authorities and coordinate corrective actions.
Alert and sequence regulatory deadlines to avoid delays.
