Bechtel seeks a Senior Civil Engineer (Field Manager) for the San Juan, Argentina project. The role focuses on managing environmental permits, coordinating engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with national and provincial standards throughout project execution.

The ideal candidate has extensive site construction experience, strong English and Spanish communication, and the ability to translate regulatory requirements into engineering criteria while maintaining schedule integrity.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineer degree and ten (10) years of work-related experience in substation and Line construction.
• Construction Management degree or global equivalent is preferred.
• Oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Advanced computer and software skills to include word processing, email, spreadsheets and presentations.

Responsabilités

• Assist construction teams with technical issues identified on drawings and specifications.
• Provide interpretation of design documents to support managers and contractors.
• Maintain effective communication between the company and the design engineer for timely information flow.
• Coordinate preparation and implementation of the project quality program within the construction engineering function.
• Report status of construction engineering activities to project management.
