The position requires a civil engineering degree with registration, 8–10 years of experience in mining or energy EPC/EPCM, and fluency in Spanish and English. Relocation to San Juan is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Civil Engineering with professional registration in Argentina.
• 10+ years of work-related experience in substation and line construction.
• High voltage experience in mining projects (2+ projects).
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and environmental permits; able to work with authorities.
• Excellent communication, detail-oriented and able to manage complex regulatory processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage permits matrix and deadlines.
• Prepare environmental reports and permit updates.
• Handle sectoral permits: water use, effluent, emissions, hazardous waste, soil movement and transport.
• Maintain dialogue with provincial and national authorities; respond to observations.
• Provide engineering constraints to design teams and monitor compliance with permits and schedules.
• Prepare progress reports on permit status for client and project management.
• Support citizen participation and relations with communities and local authorities.
• Issue environmental deliverables under document control and ensure proper signatures.
