Built in Argentina is seeking a Sr. Manager of Software Engineering to lead 1–3 engineering teams, serve as technical decision-maker, and mentor other engineering managers. You will drive architectural choices, slice complex problems into deliverables, and ensure on‑time delivery with quality.

You will partner with Principal Engineers and Product Managers to translate problems into actionable solutions. This role requires 8–12 years of hands-on software experience, SaaS leadership, and a proven

Qualifications

8–12 years hands-on software development experience.
2–5 years managing software engineering teams including managers.
Experience building and scaling high-performing SaaS engineering teams.
Strong Agile delivery experience; Scrum Master experience is a differentiator.

Responsibilities

Lead 1–3 engineering teams and manage managers for delivery, quality, and culture.
Drive complex technical choices and address debt while aligning to reference architecture.
Slice product problems into small, valuable end-to-end deliverables and experiments.
Partner with Principal Engineers and Product Managers to translate problems into actionable solutions.
Deliver on time with integrity and ensure high-quality improvements and innovations.
Resolve high-impact engineering challenges each sprint and unblock teams when needed.
Own the health and culture of engineering teams and manage budget ($250K–$1M).
