Job summary

Bechtel in Argentina seeks an experienced Electrical engineer to manage construction engineering support and ensure HV standards on mining projects. You will liaise between construction, design, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with design and quality expectations, while coordinating permit-related activities.

The role requires robust engineering experience, strong communication, and the ability to work on site in Argentina.

Qualifications

Electrical engineer with ten years of work experience in substation and line construction.
High voltage experience in at least two mining projects.
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
Attention to detail and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Support construction engineering efforts and provide technical support to craft and supervision.
Assist craftsmen, foremen, and project supervision on construction-related issues from drawings.
Provide technical interpretation of design documents for project managers and contractors.
Coordinate preparation and implementation of the project quality program with the construction engineering department.
Establish and maintain communication with design engineers to ensure timely flow of documents.
