Visa Hunt is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support a Google Cloud Platform–based data platform. You will collaborate with DevOps, application, and data engineering teams to build scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure on GCP and Kubernetes.

The role emphasizes hands-on development of data pipelines using BigQuery/Dataflow and CI/CD practices, plus security, monitoring, and migration initiatives in a remote, long-term capacity.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role with hands-on GCP experience.
• Strong experience building and operating data infrastructure on GCP.
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL.
• Advanced Terraform for GCP data services, networking, deployments.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain highly available cloud data infrastructure on GCP and Kubernetes.
• Work with BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL.
• Develop and maintain Terraform configurations for GCP data services, networking, and deployments.
• Manage networking and deployment configurations for GCP data platform components.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data services focusing on quality, security, and efficiency.
• Establish monitoring and observability across data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex data infrastructure and production issues and identify risks.
• Implement cloud security best practices including vulnerability scanning and threat modeling.
• Collaborate with application and data teams to improve operational standards.
• Support GCP migration initiatives with scalable, secure infrastructure.
