EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to contribute to a GCP-based data platform. You will design, build, and sustain data pipelines and analytics infrastructure to support reporting across the organization.

You will work with Dataflow for pipelines, BigQuery for data modeling and querying, and Looker for BI analytics, ensuring data governance and scalable solutions across teams. Proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT practices is required.

Formación

• 3+ years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• Understanding of GCP-based data platform architecture.
• Proficiency in BigQuery, including schema design and performance tuning.
• Expertise in Dataflow for batch/streaming pipelines.
• Familiarity with Looker or equivalent BI tooling.
• SQL and data engineering fundamentals (ETL/ELT, data modeling).
• Fluent Portuguese with English at B2 for team collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines leveraging Dataflow on GCP.
• Develop and fine-tune data models and queries within BigQuery.
• Create and maintain reporting and analytics layers with Looker or similar BI tooling.
• Contribute to architecture and progression of the GCP Data Platform.
• Apply data governance standards across pipelines and datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data requirements into scalable solutions.
