Job summary

AgileEngine in Mendoza, Argentina seeks a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer to deploy and operationalize a new Kubernetes-based cloud environment on AWS for a short-term project. The role demands strong Kubernetes, EKS, Helm, Argo CD, and Terraform experience, plus leadership and excellent troubleshooting skills.

English proficiency is required for cross-team collaboration. The ideal candidate will guide deployment efforts, optimize cloud infrastructure, and ensure robust operational practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering experience.
• 4+ years supporting Kubernetes in production environments.
• Demonstrated experience deploying and operating AWS-hosted applications.
• Experience leading technical implementation efforts with minimal supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, EKS, and Helm.
• Strong experience with Argo CD and Service Mesh technologies.
• Strong experience with ingress controllers, container networking, storage and persistence, and cluster operations and upgrades.
• Strong experience with AWS services, including VPC, EC2, EKS, IAM, Route 53, ALB/NLB, RDS, CloudWatch, S3, Secrets Manager, and Systems Manager Parameter Store.
• Experience with GitLab, GitLab CI/CD, GitOps workflows, Infrastructure as Code, and Terraform.
• Experience with Bash, Python, or Go.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities
