AgileEngine in the United States is seeking a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer to deploy and operationalize a new Kubernetes-based cloud environment on AWS for a short-term project.

You will lead deployments, enforce security, reliability, and operational best practices; partner with application, infrastructure, security, and operations teams; and drive automation with GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Argo CD, and service mesh tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering.
• 4+ years deploying Kubernetes in production.
• Experience deploying AWS-hosted apps and leading initiatives.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Proficient in Bash, Python, or Go.
• Upper-intermediate English.

Responsabilités

• Lead deployment of a new cloud environment within AWS or other provider.
• Ensure deployment follows security, reliability, and operational best practices.
• Partner with application, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
• Deploy and manage workloads running on Kubernetes platforms.
• Troubleshoot cluster, networking, ingress, storage, and workload issues.
• Support application modernization and containerization efforts.
• Design and enhance GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement deployment automation and release workflows.
• Establish GitOps deployment patterns using Argo CD.
• Improve traceability, repeatability, and deployment reliability.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and related tooling.
• Reduce manual deployment activities through automation.
• Configure platform monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboards.
• Support production readiness reviews and runbooks.
• Establish reliability practices and incident response procedures.
• Identify bottlenecks across cloud and Kubernetes environments.
• Document platform architecture and operational requirements.
• Produce runbooks and knowledge-transfer documentation for support teams.
