Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer to deploy and operationalize a new Kubernetes-based cloud environment on AWS for a short-term project in Mendoza, Argentina.

You will lead production deployments, optimize CI/CD workflows, and implement robust monitoring and security controls while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong Kubernetes, AWS, and scripting skills are required, with upper-intermediate English.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps, SRE, Platform/Cloud Engineering experience.
• 4+ years supporting Kubernetes in production environments.
• Demonstrated experience deploying and operating AWS-hosted applications.
• Experience leading technical implementation efforts with minimal supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, EKS, and Helm.
• Strong experience with Argo CD and Service Mesh technologies.
• Strong experience with ingress controllers, container networking, storage and persistence, and cluster operations and upgrades.
• Strong experience with AWS services including VPC, EC2, EKS, IAM, Route 53, ALB/NLB, RDS, CloudWatch, S3, Secrets Manager, and Systems Manager Parameter Store.
• Experience with GitLab, GitLab CI/CD, GitOps workflows, Infrastructure as Code, and Terraform.
• Experience with Bash, Python, or Go.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities
