AgileEngine is seeking a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer to deploy and operationalize a new Kubernetes-based cloud environment on AWS for a short-term project. You will lead deployment, implement security and reliability best practices, and collaborate across application, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on Kubernetes, AWS services, GitOps workflows, and Terraform, with a focus on scalability, automation, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, Platform/Cloud Engineering.
• 4+ years with Kubernetes in production.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of a new cloud environment on AWS or other providers.
• Ensure security, reliability, and operational best practices.
• Collaborate with infra, security, and application teams throughout the project.
• Deploy and manage workloads on Kubernetes platforms.
• Design and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Develop infrastructure with Terraform and related tooling.
• Create runbooks and documentation for support teams.
