Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to maintain production and staging environments, enhance cloud infrastructure, and automate deployments. You will manage Kubernetes workloads, CI/CD pipelines, and observability stacks while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Cloud/DevOps, strong AWS EKS expertise, and a solid background in Terraform, GitHub Actions, and GitOps practices. Weekend migrations and on‑call readiness are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Operations.
• Demonstrable AWS EKS experience supporting production environments.
• Experience supporting production SaaS applications.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar).
• GitOps experience and strong Git fundamentals.
• Experience using GitHub, Jira, and Confluence in collaborative engineering environments.
• Kubernetes experience (EKS, kOps, or similar).
• Observability stack experience (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, PagerDuty, or similar).
• Scripting experience (Bash, Python, or Go).
• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Helm, or similar).
• Working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Self-driven with a growth mindset.
• Weekend availability for migrations when needed.

Responsibilities

• Migrate applications between environments on weekends when required.
• Monitor production and staging environments in real time for high availability and performance.
• Respond to incidents, perform triage and root cause analysis, and contribute to post‑incident reviews.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation with SLAs.
• Maintain and enhance monitoring, alerts, dashboards, logs, and metrics.
