Job summary

Acclaim AI in a remote setting is seeking a seasoned DevOps/SRE Engineer to fortify a microservices platform. You will manage Kubernetes clusters across cloud and on-prem, support GPU-based ML inference, and drive CI/CD and IaC practices to scale production systems.

You will build Docker images, maintain Helm charts, and enforce security and SOC 2 controls while advancing observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in DevOps/SRE roles.
• Strong Linux system administration.
• Extensive Kubernetes in cloud and on-prem.
• Experience with major cloud provider, preferably GCP.
• Experience with ML inference on GPU/CPU is a plus.
• Proven SRE practices and observability stacks with Grafana/Prometheus/Loki.
• GitOps, IaC, and CI/CD mastery.
• Terraform, Ansible, and Python expertise.
• Ability to learn quickly in uncertain environments.
• Proactive debugging and understanding of the product.
• Strategic tech choices for long-term goals.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and evolve a microservices platform in Kubernetes across AWS, GCP, on-prem Rancher.
• Operate GPU-based ML inference services (Triton, vLLM) on RunPod/Scaleway/Nebius.
• Build and maintain Docker images for all microservices.
• Scale and maintain Kubernetes clusters; participate in deployments and incident response.
• Develop and evolve custom Helm charts.
• Design and operate CI/CD pipelines with GitHub and GitLab for on-prem deployments.
• Ensure SOC 2 compliance and improve security processes.
• Manage cluster access via NetBird VPN with RBAC.
• Deploy infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop observability systems: Grafana/Prometheus/ELK.
• Optimize IaC, IAM, Observability, and CI/CD.
• Work with stack: Python, Kubernetes, Linux, Docker, GitHub CI/CD, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Kafka, Superset, Terraform, Ansible.
