Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, operate, and improve the cloud infrastructure for a cybersecurity platform. The role focuses on AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, and observability, with ownership of production systems.

It is a 100% remote LATAM contract paying in USD, offering a technical and security-focused environment. You will collaborate with software, security, QA, and IT teams, driving platform reliability, automation, and cost efficiency

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
• Extensive Kubernetes/EKS experience.
• Proficient with Terraform and IaC.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Linux administration and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot workloads on Kubernetes/EKS.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Improve deployment processes and developer experience.
• Manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Design observability with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and OpenSearch/ELK.
• Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Identify and automate recurring operational issues.
• Apply security best practices for AWS and Kubernetes.
• Support platform engineering and security collaboration.
• Explore new DevOps and platform technologies.
