Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, operate, and improve the cloud infrastructure for a cybersecurity platform. You will work primarily with AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, and observability tools.

You will collaborate with software engineering, QA, security, and IT teams to enhance platform resilience, automate processes, and optimize costs while maintaining high security standards. This is a 100% remote contractor role across LATAM.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in DevOps, Platform/Cloud Engineering, or similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Deploy and scale workloads on Kubernetes / Amazon EKS.
• Develop automation for provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Improve deployment processes, release reliability, and developer experience.
• Manage Dockerized applications and Kubernetes clusters.
• Enhance observability with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, and ELK.
• Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and proactive automation.
• Implement security best practices for AWS and Kubernetes, and support compliance.
• Support cloud cost optimization and FinOps initiatives.
• Collaborate with security teams and production teams on platform improvements.
• Continuously evaluate new DevOps technologies and approaches.
