Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, operate, and continuously improve cloud infrastructure for a security-focused platform.

You will build scalable AWS-based systems, implement IaC with Terraform, manage Kubernetes/EKS, and develop robust CI/CD pipelines. This role emphasizes observability, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, all in a 100% remote LATAM setting.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on production experience with AWS.
• Strong experience managing Kubernetes clusters, ideally Amazon EKS.
• Advanced experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Docker and containerized environments experience.
• CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Linux administration and networking skills.
• Experience with Ansible and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Observability stack experience (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Familiarity with security best practices and FinOps concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop and maintain Terraform IaC with reproducible environments.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS) and containerized workloads.
• Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Automate infrastructure configuration, deployment, and release processes.
• Improve observability with monitoring, dashboards, and centralized logging.
• Collaborate with Security, QA, and Engineering teams to ensure reliability and security.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and automation of recurring issues.
