Avenga in Buenos Aires (Hybrid: 3 days on-site) seeks a Senior Mainframe Developer to strengthen our core banking solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain COBOL-based systems focusing on accounts, liabilities, and payments.

You will work with DB2, CICS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, SQL, and batch processing, and may engage in automated testing and Agile practices. Based in Capital Federal or Buenos Aires, you’ll join a skilled team delivering reliable financial software.

Formación

• Senior experience in development and maintenance of core banking systems.
• Expertise in COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, and SQL.
• Strong domain knowledge in Accounts, Liabilities, and Payments.
• Based in Capital Federal or Buenos Aires with on-site 3 days a week.

• Senior experience in development and maintenance of core banking systems.

• Strong expertise in COBOL (Batch and Online), DB2, CICS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, and SQL.

• Solid functional domain knowledge in Accounts (Savings, Checking, Time Deposits), Liability Products, and Payment Services.

• Based in Capital Federal or Buenos Aires with availability to work on-site 3 days a week.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience with automated testing tools for mainframe environments.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
