Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Data Ingestion) to join a remote LATAM project focused on building a next‑generation data and AI platform. You will design scalable ingestion pipelines, connect enterprise data sources, and collaborate with customers to implement reliable data integrations.

The role blends data engineering, software engineering, and solution architecture in a hands‑on capacity. You’ll work with AWS, Snowflake, Python, and Airflow/Step Functions, contributing to

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on data solutions in cloud production environments
• Deep AWS data services knowledge (S3, AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB)
• Python for data engineering: pipelines, automation, data libraries
• Snowflake ingestion, modeling, and performance optimization
• Orchestration in Airflow or Step Functions with dependencies and retries
• DevOps and IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, and CI/CD with GitLab
• Senior autonomy and technical judgment for design decisions

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services
• Integrate data sources across identity, cloud platforms, network, endpoints, and security tools
• Collaborate with customers to understand environments and integration constraints
• Lead architecture discussions, produce scalable ingestion architectures, and production deployment
• Build reusable connectors and platform capabilities for customer requirements
• Ensure observability, reliability, and performance of data pipelines
• Teach and mentor team members; contribute to internal Data & AI community
• Support deployment and adoption for enterprise customers
