Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team. This hybrid role owns reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities on AWS-first infrastructure.

You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Terraform/AWS CDK, and data infra to ship high-quality data products. You will collaborate with data engineers and scientists, design observability, and contribute to secure, scalable solutions.

Formación

• 5+ years of DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE with data engineering experience.
• Strong AWS expertise: S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Secrets Manager.
• Experience designing observability, CI/CD pipelines, and data infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs and related data infra.
• Build and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform / CDK).
• Own observability: metrics, logs, alerts for data pipelines.
• Develop self-service DataOps tooling and reusable templates.
• Lead incident response for data platform outages and perform post-mortems.
• Mentor junior engineers in DevOps and data engineering practices.
