Job summary

Darwoft seeks a Senior Data Engineer focused on Data Ingestion, Integrations, and Collectors to bridge customers and engineering. You will design scalable ingestion solutions, work with customers on environments, data flows, and APIs, and implement connectors across cloud and on‑premise ecosystems.

This role combines data engineering, software engineering, architecture, cloud, and technical consulting to deliver reliable, production-ready ingestion platforms for enterprise security workloads.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software/Data/Platform engineering experience.
• Strong Python and Go development experience.
• Experience designing data ingestion pipelines and connectors.
• Experience integrating complex enterprise systems and third‑party platforms.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL knowledge.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SASE solutions, network infrastructure.
• Work with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, and integration constraints.
• Lead onboarding from discovery to production deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data sources.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven patterns.
• Develop backend services using Python and/or Go.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Troubleshoot complex deployment and data-layer issues.
• Optimize ingestion performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with solution architects, Sales Eng, Customer Success, Product and Eng teams.
• Act as trusted advisor on data architecture and security integrations.
• Convert recurring requirements into reusable connectors and product improvements.
• Contribute insights to roadmap and product direction.
• Support production adoption and time-to-value for customers.
• Participate in occasional customer-facing sessions and onsite engagements.
