Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors to join a cybersecurity platform project. You will work directly with enterprise customers to design scalable ingestion pipelines and connectors, primarily using Python and Go, across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software/Data or related experience.
• Strong software development experience with Python and Go.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on data ingestion pipelines and integration platforms.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD practices.
• Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources (IdPs, cloud platforms, SIEMs, endpoints) into the platform.
• Collaborate with customers to understand environments and integration constraints.
• Assist in onboarding, architecture design, and production deployments.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data like security events and logs.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, event-driven architectures.
• Develop backend services in Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and containerized services (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Deploy solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Troubleshoot deployments and optimize performance, reliability, and time-to-value.
