Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors for a cybersecurity/identity platform. You will design and implement scalable ingestion pipelines, connect enterprise sources, and ensure secure, reliable data flows across cloud environments.

You will work closely with customers to translate requirements into robust data architectures, build connectors, and optimize performance, with a strong emphasis on data quality and time-to-value.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related experience.
• Strong software development experience with Python and Go.
• Strong experience designing REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience building data ingestion pipelines or similar systems.
• Experience integrating complex enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SIEM systems.
• Work directly with customers to understand environments and integration constraints.
• Participate in onboarding and production deployment processes.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for security events and high-volume data sources.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven architectures.
• Develop backend services in Python and/or Go; work with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Operate Docker and Kubernetes containers; deploy across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Collaborate with various teams and act as a trusted technical advisor.
