AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to partner with our internal data team on a Customer Data Platform initiative. You will build Snowflake semantic structures, clean and transform customer datasets, and develop AI-ready data models for a growing retail brand.

Expect to write production-grade SQL and Python, maintain data models, and document assets with cross-functional stakeholders. Eastern Time overlap is preferred.

Formación

• 4+ years writing complex, optimized SQL, including window functions and semi-structured data.
• Strong Python skills for data manipulation, automation, and data quality checks.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data ecosystems (AWS, Snowflake, GCP, or Azure).
• Excellent stakeholder communication to translate business needs into technical specs.
• Rigorous documentation of data assets and code.

Responsabilidades

• CDP data modeling: clean, transform, and structure customer datasets in Snowflake to feed the CDP.
• Develop Snowflake views, semantic models, and metadata to support AI and BI tools.
• Prepare datasets for retail initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Write production-grade SQL and Python for data transformation and wrangling.
• Translate business requests into clean, structured data models with clear documentation.
• Parse and flatten semi-structured data (JSON, nested payloads) from cloud sources.
• Maintain data models and semantic views with version-controlled code.
• Create data dictionaries and model descriptions; follow data testing protocols.
• Take on analytics engineering priorities as needed.
