AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect and build an enterprise data platform on Snowflake and Azure, owning the full stack from infrastructure provisioning through pipeline development and governance.

You will construct Bronze/Silver/Gold models with SQLMesh, implement IaC with Terraform, and drive CI/CD via GitHub Actions while enforcing HIPAA-aligned data handling and Snowflake RBAC. This role is a solo senior contributor position.

Formación

• 4+ years hands-on data engineering with full production pipeline ownership.
• Proven cloud data platform experience with Snowflake administration and performance tuning.
• Strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals (Kimball, SCD).
• Experience with SQLMesh or DBT in warehouse architectures.
• REST API data ingestion and Azure Data Factory/Functions experience.
• Terraform for ISA provisioning; CI/CD with GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps.
• Upper-intermediate English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines ingesting from enterprise systems into Snowflake via Azure tools.
• Build Bronze/Silver/Gold data models using SQLMesh.
• Provision and manage all platform infrastructure with Terraform and Azure resources.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated testing and deployments.
• Enforce data governance, security, and HIPAA-aligned handling with RBAC, row-level security, masking.
• Configure cloud networking and private connectivity (Azure VNet, Private Endpoints).
• Develop observability and data quality checks using Datadog or similar.
• Write production-grade Python for ingestion utilities and data quality tests.
• Apply Agile practices with stakeholders.
