Coderio is seeking a Senior Data Scientist Lead to join an international client and guide the design, development, and delivery of data science solutions that create measurable business value.

In this high-impact role you will mentor data professionals, collaborate with business and engineering stakeholders, and own the full lifecycle from problem understanding to production deployment, with a focus on AWS-based ML solutions.

Formación

• 6+ years of professional experience in Data Science, ML, or related field with proven experience leading technical initiatives or teams.
• Strong hands-on experience with statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, predictive analytics, experimentation, and data-driven problem solving.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, or similar.
• Strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning, model evaluation, feature engineering, optimization, and production ML practices.
• Solid hands-on experience in designing or implementing data science and ML solutions in AWS environments.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets, data warehouses, and complex data environments.
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions, mentor professionals, and drive projects from concept to production.
• Advanced English proficiency for clear communication with international teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking with pragmatic approach to challenges.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and implementation of data science initiatives, defining methodologies, technical approaches, and best practices across projects.
• Develop, evaluate, and optimize statistical and machine learning models to generate actionable insights.
• Own the end-to-end data science lifecycle from data exploration to deployment and monitoring.
• Design and implement scalable data science and ML solutions leveraging AWS cloud services.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data scientists and engineers.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, data engineers, and software engineers to translate problems into data-driven solutions.
• Monitor model performance and drive improvements to accuracy, scalability, and business alignment.
• Contribute to defining data science strategies and best practices across the organization.
• Promote knowledge sharing and conduct technical reviews across teams.
