Applaudo is seeking a hands-on Senior Data Engineer to build reliable, scalable data pipelines across cloud environments. You will own end-to-end data integration, from API connections and transformations to warehouse validation, collaborating with US-based stakeholders in a distributed setup.

The role requires 6+ years of data engineering experience, strong TS/Node.js production skills, and deep knowledge of GCP services like BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub.

Formación

• 6+ years of Data Engineering, ETL, or Data Integration experience.
• Hands-on production experience with TypeScript/Node.js.
• GCP data services: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub.
• REST API integrations with OAuth 2.0, pagination, error handling, retries.
• Advanced SQL for warehouse data validation and reconciliation.
• Experience with data transformation logic and production pipelines.
• Able to follow existing architecture, coding patterns, and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong written communication for async distributed teams.
• Self-directed onboarding with minimal guidance.

Responsabilidades

• Build, maintain, and enhance ETL pipelines connecting REST APIs with GCP warehouses.
• Develop data integration components using TypeScript/Node.js and Python.
• Create data pipelines using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
• Implement transformation logic for billing events, subscriptions, revenue data.
• Maintain REST API integrations, including authentication, pagination, retries.
• Support monitoring, alerting, logging, and data quality checks.
• Write complex SQL for source-to-warehouse validation and reconciliation.
• Collaborate on warehouse validation requirements and translate to SQL checks.
• Investigate and resolve pipeline, integration, and data quality issues.
• Adhere to CI/CD practices and contribute to Agile/Kanban workflows.
