Applaudo in Argentina seeks a hands-on Senior Data Engineer to build reliable, scalable data pipelines across cloud environments. You will own API integrations, production ETL pipelines, and data validation in a GCP-based warehouse.

You bring 6+ years in data engineering, strong TypeScript/Node.js and Python production experience, and advanced SQL skills. English communication is essential for distributed collaboration.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of data engineering, ETL, or data integration experience.
• Hands-on production experience with TypeScript/Node.js in ETL environments.
• Strong Python experience building data pipelines with Dataflow or Airflow.
• Experience with GCP data services: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub.
• Experience building REST API integrations with OAuth 2.0, pagination, retries.
• Advanced SQL for complex warehouse queries, validation and reconciliation.
• Experience with data transformation logic and production pipelines.
• Ability to work within existing architecture, CI/CD, and coding standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and async, distributed team communication.
• Working English proficiency for collaboration with US-based stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain production ETL pipelines linking REST APIs with GCP data warehouse.
• Develop data integration components with TypeScript/Node.js and Python.
• Develop pipelines using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
• Implement transformation logic for billing events and subscription data.
• Maintain REST API integrations with authentication, pagination, retries.
• Support pipeline monitoring, logging, error handling and data quality checks.
• Write complex SQL for source-to-warehouse validation and reconciliation.
• Collaborate on warehouse validation requirements and SQL checks.
• Investigate and resolve data pipeline issues; follow CI/CD practices.
• Provide status updates in an async-first distributed team; contribute to Agile workflows.
