Prospera AI is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect and build our data infrastructure from scratch, powering analytics and ML model training. You will design a data warehouse, ETL/ELT pipelines, feature stores, and governance to enable scalable data use across the platform.

You will work autonomously in a small, well-funded team as there is no existing data team, building patterns that support Sophie, our multi-agent AI orchestrator, and ensuring robust data management for growth.

Formación

• 5+ years experience with modern cloud data warehouses (Snowflake strongly preferred).
• Extensive ETL/ELT pipeline development with strong SQL skills.
• dbt experience required; Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect for orchestration.
• Strong Python for data engineering tasks.
• AWS experience (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift).
• ML pipeline experience (nice to have).
• Fivetran or similar managed ELT tools (nice to have).
• Dimensional modeling expertise (Kimball methodology) (nice to have).
• Startup experience building data infrastructure from scratch (nice to have).
• Big data at scale (Spark, distributed computing) (nice to have).

Responsabilidades

• Data Infrastructure Architecture: design and implement foundational data infrastructure from scratch; set up Snowflake environments with security and access controls; create scalable architectural patterns.
• ETL/ELT Pipeline Development: build robust pipelines from source systems to the data warehouse; implement transformations with dbt; orchestrate with Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect; integrate Fivetran connectors and custom extraction from Supabase.
• Data Modeling: design dimensional models for analytics and ML; create semantic layers; implement slowly changing dimensions and governance.
• ML Data Pipelines: build infrastructure feeding Sophie’s machine learning capabilities; create feature stores for real-time serving; implement data versioning for reproducibility.
