AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Customer Data Platform initiative. You will partner with an internal data team to build Snowflake semantic structures, clean and transform customer datasets, and develop AI-ready data models for a growing retail brand.

Expect to write production-grade SQL and Python, maintain data dictionaries, and collaborate cross-functionally in an Eastern Time Zone overlap.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience writing complex, optimized SQL and working with semi-structured data.
• Proficient Python scripting for data manipulation, automation, and data quality checks.
• Hands-on cloud data experience (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong ability to translate business needs into technical specifications for data models.
• Disciplined documentation habits and clear code comments are essential.
• Fluent to upper-intermediate English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with internal data team to clean, transform, and structure customer, sales, and behavioral data in Snowflake.
• Develop Snowflake views, semantic models, and metadata to support AI agents and BI tools.
• Engineer datasets for retail initiatives, including inventory and customer analytics.
• Write production-grade SQL and Python scripts for data wrangling and extraction.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert ambiguous requests into structured data models.
• Parse and flatten semi-structured data (JSON, nested payloads) from cloud sources.
• Build and maintain data models and semantic views in Snowflake with thorough documentation.
• Maintain clean repositories with git workflows and data testing protocols.
