AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to advance our modern Snowflake data stack. You will design, test, and optimize end-to-end ETL pipelines using Apache Airflow and dbt, ensuring zero downtime for downstream analytics while migrating and hardening scheduled jobs.

Collaboration with a Lead Data Engineer will shape architecture for AI-enabled data layers. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in data engineering, strong Python/SQL skills, and proven CI/CD experience, with a preference for

Formación

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Hands-on production experience with Apache Airflow/Astronomer.
• Strong proficiency with dbt Core and related CI/CD patterns.
• Experience building deployment pipelines and automated regression tests for data teams.
• Solid background in Python and SQL for data engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Assist bronze/silver/gold layering within Snowflake and collaborate on architecture decisions.
• Build automated testing and failure alerting for ETL workflows and Airflow orchestration.
• Migrate schedule-based Paradime jobs into Airflow DAGs.
• Work within data governance and access controls for PII pipelines.
• Translate dbt schedules into scalable Airflow DAGs using modern Python patterns.
• Maintain integration points between Paradime and Airflow in production.
• Audit dbt code and pipelines to identify bottlenecks and reduce compute costs.
• Collaborate with Lead Data Engineer to evolve data stack for AI semantic layers.
• Establish automated error handling and recovery routines across the pipeline stack.
• Ensure no downtime or data loss for BI tools during infra changes.
