AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data and Analytics Engineer to work with business stakeholders, translating needs into data transformations using dbt and SQL. The role focuses on rapid, business-facing data features within a fast-paced environment.

You will build scalable pipelines with Snowflake, dbt Cloud, GitHub, VS Code, and local Python, transitioning tribal documentation into dbt catalogs and leveraging AI tools to improve governance and efficiency.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering in production.
• Expert-level Python and SQL skills.
• Extensive hands-on experience building transformation pipelines in dbt Cloud.
• Strong proficiency with Snowflake and tools like GitHub and VS Code.
• Ability to thrive in a fast, process-light environment that behaves like a data science team.
• Strong communication with non-technical stakeholders and product managers during planning.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver robust data features and pipelines in project teams for business-facing verticals.
• Translate business use cases into robust data models using dbt and SQL with complex logic.
• Build and maintain scalable pipelines using Snowflake, dbt Cloud, GitHub, VS Code and Python.
• Incorporate AI tools into development workflow (e.g., Copilot, Snowflake Cortex) and governance.
• Collaborate with product managers, data visualization leads, and analysts to deliver consumption-ready data.
