Job summary

Proofpoint is recruiting a Senior Program Manager in Córdoba, Argentina to drive delivery across our cybersecurity product portfolio. You will lead cross-functional teams spanning Engineering, Product, Threat Research and Operations to ensure on-time, quality releases that protect millions of users worldwide.

You will align stakeholders, manage dependencies, and scale delivery using Agile practices while mentoring junior program managers and shaping a high-performing team in a global company.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of program management experience in a software or product engineering organization.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and the ability to engage engineering teams on technical delivery.
• Experience with scaled Agile frameworks and cross-team coordination practices such as Scrum of Scrums.
• Strong influencing and relationship-building skills across engineering, product, and leadership teams.
• Excellent communication skills - able to present complex information clearly to audiences at all levels.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence; proficient with dashboards and program metrics.
• Able to manage ambiguity and shifting priorities with a clear head and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Own product delivery across the full software development lifecycle - requirements, design, development, testing, and release - across both cloud and appliance-based product lines.
• Drive alignment across Engineering, Product, Threat Research, Operations, and Customer Support on programs that span multiple teams and timelines.
• Coordinate across multiple Agile teams using scaled Agile practices including aligning sprints, managing cross-team dependencies, and driving program-level delivery rhythm.
• Turn program complexity into clear, strategic updates for senior leadership.
• Lead strategic planning and end-to-end delivery for multiple programs simultaneously, balancing long-term goals with day-to-day execution.
• Manage cross-team dependencies, surface blockers early, and drive timely decisions to keep programs on track.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and executive sponsors, providing clear visibility into program status and risks.
• Evaluate scope changes and shifting priorities, communicating impact clearly and aligning teams on the path forward.
• Build and maintain proactive risk management practices across all programs.
• Mentor intermediate program managers and contribute to building a high-performing, collaborative team.
